The solution
Four Irish rugby players were chosen to appear on the EI DEO livery were Tommy Bowe, Rob Kearney, Robbie Henshaw and Conor Murray. Once I established the player’s positions on the fuselage, along with the #GreenSpirit hashtag, I extended arcs of green from the nose right through the body of the aircraft. These arcs culminated on the tailfin where they wrapped around a stylised rugby ball featuring the Aer Lingus shamrock. It is not often you get to see one of your designs travelling at 37,000 feet!
